Will Nokia getback its Crown

Nokia , Most famous mobile brand once. Due to Modernization Mobile brands Gone with smartphone Technology. Nokia believed that windows will rule the market and all other brands believed that Open source Android will lead the Market. Finally Android phones won the show and Nokia lost its place in Mobile market. Due to this Nokia handovered it's mobile segment to Microsoft and left the Market. At this time Samsung , Micromax , Mi , Oppo, Vivo Grabbed the Market and Samsung is leading the market. Now Nokia decided to back to market with Android.   Nokia will be back in June 2017. But the question is "will Nokia get back its crown?". Even now too there is grace for Nokia . In order to get back its position Nokia need to launch several Model phones from Budget segment to Premium and special care to be taken in Mid range segment . And Nokia's strength is its battery and Robustness. If those two will be there in its upcoming models then surely Nokia will get back its crown. Now a days Battery drains fast in smartphones and many smartphones are not withstanding not more than 2 years (Obviously the phone gets outdated with 6 month). So Nokia have to focus on Battery withstanding Android based smartphones. Let's wait and watch what will happen .

Political move of Mr. Rajini

Recently Mr. Rajinikanth spoke about Indian politics during his fans meet. Then our media started writing lot of articles about this. And many leaders, common people both supported and opposed his political entry. I am neither supporting nor opposing Mr.rajinikanth. These are my thoughts what I felt about this and need not be all true. First of all, being a citizen of Democratic country we should not oppose anyone's political entry. Everyone has rights to enter into politics. And it's up to his own decision. But one thing we can do. I.e. we like him we can vote to him or else we can vote to other parties. And many people asking that have Mr. Rajinikanth raised his voice against the issues like kudamkulam , jallikattu, Kaveri issues. He is not the right person for these issues. It is the duty of the persons those who elected by the people.  And I will not say if he enters into politics he will be the next CM of Tamilnadu. Not all the Actors who turn to be a politician will  be equal to our hounorable Ex. Chief minister Mr. M.G.Ramachandran. But for the sure he will divide the vote banks of traditional Dravidian Parties. If he enters into the politics part from other Issues , in the karvery river issue his situation is pathetic. Because he supports Karnataka he will get opposition from Our Tamilnadu and vice versa. Let's see it will happen.

Disclaimer :The above are just what I felt and need not to be true in all cases.

Why ban only pepsi, coke and why not bouvanto!

Many people supports bouvanto and raising voice against Pepsi and coke...  I agree with  part of their point. We have to stop consuming coke and Pepsi, not because it's a foreign product. The reason should be it's hazardous to our health. And at the same time I agree that producing the coke and Pepsi is not eco-friendly. I have a question .. is bouvanto contains full of nutrients and natural elements??  Production of bouvanto is eco friendly?? Definitely noooooo. So we can go with our ancient , traditional drinks like coconut , sarbath, fresh juice, etc.

Height of Unemployment : MBAs, BTech grads apply for watchman post in Visakhapatnam!

VISAKHAPATNAM: Call it the heights of unemployment, if you will but officials at the Eastern Power Distribution Company of AP Limited (APEPDCL) were in for a shock of their lives when they found that the 338 candidates that applied for the sole watchman's post for its Visakhapatnam circle office at Ram Nagar had MBA and B.Tech grads among them.

Though, there is no basic educational qualification for the watchman's post, which has a salary of Rs 25,000 per month, and the basic criteria is that the candidate should just know how to read and write in Telugu and should be not more than 35 years of age, most of those who applied were B.Sc, B.Com, BBM, with some even holding B.Tech and MBA degrees.

Very Pathetic Situation for B.Tech and MBAs

The Rise Of Micromax in Mobile World

The Rise Of Micromax in Mobile World
According to market research agency Canalys, Micromax is the number one smartphone company in India right now. It has a market share of 22 per cent compared to 20 per cent of Samsung. This is an important moment for Micromax. It is also a significant moment in the Indian phone industry considering the actual difference between Micromax and Samsung -- one is a feisty home-grown firm while the other is a huge multinational company with revenue in billions of dollars every three month.
There are seven Reasons the Micromax become the number one smartphone company in India.
It targets budget Segment
India is a market where nothing sells better than the low price. Consumers, especially those who are buying their first smartphone after ditching the feature phone they were using for the last five years, are extremely price conscious. In India, people will buy the phone that is priced cheap, even if it means compromising somewhat on the brand value. Micromax understands this. Hence, it mostly sells smartphones in Rs.4,000 to Rs.15,000 price brackets. This is the price segment where most of the consumers are and by giving people phones they can afford, Micromax reaps big rewards.
It releases as many phones as it can
Micromax launches almost one to two phones every month, keeping the brand name fresh in people's memories. A strategy focused on a large number of smartphone models also helps the company deal with different needs of consumers. Want a phone with long battery? Micromax has one. Want a phone with big screen? Micromax has one. Want a phone that has loud speakers? Micromax has one.
Marketing with a difference
Micromax spends ample money traditional marketing and advertisement channels like television and newspapers. At the same time, it also aggressively uses to court consumers. But more important than the money it is spending on marketing is the way the company spends it. It targets young consumers, who are more passionate about their phones and often change their phones. It portrays the Micromax brand as a cool, hip brand that is different from others. The tagline -- Nothing Like Anything -- does work. In comparison, Samsung comes off as a more mature, but also brings, brand.
Good reach at small towns and rural areas
Micromax has very good reach within India. This means whether you are in a big city or in a small town , you can easily find a Micromax phone in the store. when you combine the fact that Micromax phones are easily available with the low prices at which they are available, you get a winning combination. In comparison, Samsung still comes across as sort of a premium brand, which is more expensive.
Android creates a level-playing field
In the good old days, creating and selling phones was a tough business. Companies like Nokia would spend millions of dollars trying to perfect the phone before they could release it in market. They had to hire developers and work on its software. This means companies with more resources stood better chance of prevailing in market. Android has changed that. Now, whether the phone is made by Samsung or Micromax, if it is running Android, it offers almost same functionality. Yes, there are still differences and big companies still have lots of advantages. But the market dynamics have also changed. Now, competing with bigger firms is easier. Android creates a level-playing field and Micromax has exploited it very well in the last couple of years.
Made in China!
Just like the way Android has created a level-playing field when it comes to software, the Chinese phone factories have allowed everyone to get cheap manufacturing resources. Every company, from Apple to Micromax, sells phones made in China. For a phone company it is no longer necessary to set up expensive factories or spend millions of dollars on R&D. The process of making phones has been commoditised by the Chinese factories. If Micromax wants to compete with Samsung, it doesn't need to spend years designing and testing its phone. All it needs to do is go to China, give manufacturers a list of what it wants and it will get that.
Samsung got lazy (or maybe it was clueless)
Samsung had the whole smartphone market in India in its grasp. And then it got lazy. There is an impression that the company is spending too much time and energy trying to compete with Apple instead of capitalising on the opportunities that markets like India provide. Instead of coming out with some really good budget phones, it kept selling Galaxy Duos and Galaxy Aces with somewhat slower hardware and unappealing features. It is as if Samsung treated people with lower budget for their new phone as second-class consumers. Meanwhile, for Micromax the lower and middle segment of the market was the main market. It wooed budget shoppers and they rewarded it by buying its phones.

Microsoft confirms it will buy 'Minecraft' for $2.5 billion

Microsoft confirms it will buy 'Minecraft' for $2.5 billion

Microsoft is buying Minecraft maker Mojang. Reports of Microsoft’s plans surfaced nearly a week ago, and the software maker is making it official today. Microsoft is paying $2.5 billion to acquire Mojang, and the deal is expected to close by the end of the year. "Minecraft adds diversity to our game portfolio and helps us reach new gamers across multiple platforms," says Xbox chief Phil Spencer. "Gaming is the top activity across devices and we see great potential to continue to grow the Minecraft community and nurture the franchise. That is why we plan to continue to makeMinecraft available across platforms – including iOS, Android and PlayStation, in addition to Xbox and PC."
Minecraft creator Markus Persson, known as Notch, will not be joining Microsoft as part of the acquisition. "He’s decided that he doesn’t want the responsibility of owning a company of such global significance," says Mojang’s Owen Hill. "Over the past few years he’s made attempts to work on smaller projects, but the pressure of owning Minecraft became too much for him to handle. The only option was to sell Mojang. He’ll continue to do cool stuff though. Don’t worry about that." Notch has previously criticized Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system, but in a revealing blog post he discusses his reasons for leaving Mojang and Minecraft. "If I ever accidentally make something that seems to gain traction, I’ll probably abandon it immediately," says Persson."Thank you for turning Minecraft into what it has become, but there are too many of you, and I can’t be responsible for something this big."
Microsoft Minecraft
While there are constant calls from investors for Microsoft to sell off its Xbox division and not focus on gaming at all, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella sees things differently. "Gaming is a top activity spanning devices, from PCs and consoles to tablets and mobile, with billions of hours spent each year," says Nadella. "Minecraft is more than a great game franchise — it is an open world platform, driven by a vibrant community we care deeply about, and rich with new opportunities for that community and for Microsoft."
There are a number of likely reasons why Microsoft is buying Minecraft, and some analysts believe the move could boost Windows Phone’s prospects. Minecraft has been a popular app on iOS and Android, but the game isn’t currently available on Windows Phone. It’s hard to imagine a version not existing on Windows Phone in future after today’s deal, but Microsoft may also choose to add additional features and benefits to its own Windows version to entice Android and iOS users.
MICROSOFT TAPS MINECRAFT'S HUGE POTENTIAL
Microsoft’s other interests with Minecraft are likely related to its huge following, and the ability to attract future developer talent to the Windows platform.Minecraft was originally released in test form five years ago as an indie game that allows players to shape an environment by crafting and building constructions out of blocks. A younger generation of players have flocked to the game, and videos of replica objects and tips on how to play Minecraft are regularly shared with millions of views on YouTube. More than 54 million copies of Minecraft have been sold across PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and other platforms, demonstrating its reach and success.
That popularity means Minecraft is essentially the digital equivalent of Lego blocks, allowing players to create their own worlds that can be shared and edited by others. If Microsoft can tap into that culture without upsetting the millions of devoted fans, then it could serve to open up Minecraftto even bigger audiences as a tool for building, education, and development.
